 In 1964 Chem-Trol, Inc. was formed as a vegetation control company primarily providing complete vegetation control (bareground) services in the industrial market. The company began as a two-person operation, Glen "Bud" Tolman and Darrel Odle. Headquartered in Kansas City, KS, their initial goal was to provide the very best customer service, thereby building the foundation for the company's success.
As the business and company’s positive reputation grew, herbicide and equipment manufacturers began to take notice, and Chem-Trol began to diversify it's "prescription approach" to weed and brush control. The increasing number of satisfied customers, combined with the time-tested success of quality products & equipment, allowed the company to grow into what is known today: Chem-Trol, Inc. that applies herbicides to industrial sites; and Vegetation Management Supply, Inc., a distributor for herbicides and equipment.
